The film we would like to review is "Voices from the list". In fact, we could realize that those people are much more than voices;they are survivors, parts of this history.
The story is based on many statements showing the atrocities committed with the Jews during the Second World War.Michael Mayhew, the film's director pointed Schindler out as the hero of the Jews, since he took care of them in his new factory in Czechoslovakia,in order to save them. There are many memorable characters including a woman who worked for Schindler and could feel protected by him.Her statements moved us,once she expressed so much emotion on her words that it was impossible not to take pity on her.
This is a film about hope and challenges, in which, in a riveting way,Michael revealed the "Holocaust" in its essence. We could see many real photos and scenes in the film, showing the Nazi's evil. It turns the fact and the film much more real and moving.
Although we enjoyed it, we would not recommend it for children.Firstly, the context is very complex to them, and besides this, the scenes represented in the film are deep and heavy for those minds.
